Jimmie Goodale last years member of the year of the CCBC, awards a trophy to Merle Witzki for being selected Member of the Year. Merle was selected by a secret vote of the membership because he showed a willingness to volunteer and enthusiasm to work for the betterment of the club. Merle was pleasantly surprised at the club’s annual Christmas party with the award and thanked the membership for the honor. Jimmie said Merle”s willingness to help in any way possible makes hm a valuable member whose participation in car shows and rallys is greatly appreciated by all members of the club.

CCBC Tops National Council of Corvette Clubs in Standings
The Corvette Club of Battle Creek has achieved great success in competition driving and points earned through the National Council of Corvette Clubs and through the Michigan Regional Council. Members attend sanctioned events and drive competitively to earn points. The Corvette Club is fortunate to have so many top point earners in our relatively small club.

Jimmy was selected by a secret vote of the membership because he demonstrated outstanding leadership, willingness to volunteer, and enthusiasm to work for the betterment of the club. Jimmy was pleasantly surprised at the club’s annual Christmas party with the award and thanked the membership for the honor. He was thankful for the group of friends who he said made it easy for him.
